Broccoli Fried Rice

This simple fried rice dish combines long grain white rice with broccoli florets and onion. Flavored with sesame oil, garlic, chicken broth, cilantro, sea salt and black pepper. You can easily double or triple this recipe in size with little extra effort.
Ingredients -
 

1/2 cup Long-Grain White Rice, cooked and chilled
1/4 pound Broccoli Florets, divided
3 teaspoons Sesame Oil
1/2 medium Onion, sliced
2 medium clove Garlic, crushed
1/4 cup Chicken Broth
¼ cup chopped Fresh Cilantro
Sea Salt, to taste
Fresh Ground Black Pepper, to taste

 
Preparation:
 

1. In a small bowl combine chicken broth, cilantro and 1-teaspoon sesame oil. Set aside.

2. Heat 2 teaspoons sesame oil to hot wok. Stir-fry onion 2-3 minutes.

3. Add garlic, cooked rice and broccoli. Stir-fry 2 minutes.

4. Add chicken broth mixture to wok.

5. Stir to combine.

6. Salt and pepper, to taste.

You could swap out the chicken broth for vegetable broth to make this dish entirely meat free.
